A PIZZA A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY. ZOLA.

WAS IT COSY?
The location in a backyard of an impressive building at Kreuzberg's Paul-Lincke Ufer is not bad at all. We went on a sunny afternoon in late June, so that we could sit on the cosy Biergarten benches in the yard. But also the inside looked cool and authentic.
WERE THEY NICE?
The waitress didn't speak German at all and wasn't talkative in other languages either. In Denmark and most other places in the world they would probably be considered rude but for Berlin standards it's just normal "service".
The pizza arrived after around 5 minutes, so that is just about perfect timing, a couple of minutes before we turn hangry.
WAS IT LECKER?
We shared a "Bufalina" pizza, and despite the fact that the bottom was a little sloppy, it did taste very well. Bubu and me prefer our pizzas made the Napolitana way: simple but high quality ingredients, in this case buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and basil, thin crust and quickly baked.
Oh and the different type of oil on the table were both delicious and good-looking: garlic, spicy and olivy!
DID IT KILL THE BUDGET?
The pizza costed 9 euro which is in the high end in comparison to a lot of places in Berlin, but the price was worth it cause you get a nice pizza which you can either eat in a cool yard in one of Kreuzbergs hippest places, or even better, take it to the canal.
DID IT LOOK GOOD?
We liked, because the location is great and it was kept simple and rustic.
